A classic car show ...

This post is a little overdue but hey lets roll with it!
A few weekends ago i took the motor and headed to Bromley for the classic car show held there every year. It was a chilly day but a great day out spotting all the strange colors and shapes of different cars and envying all the beautiful vw campervans...one day ...one day!
We had a fab day, and so did little frankie who wore his neckerchief and amassed a load of admirers who passed by.
The day stayed overcast and grey but we managed to have fun and shelter in the mini with a flask of tea and slice of cake when it began to rain. The next mini adventure will be to Worthing for Mini's by the sea....in September.

Have a great Wednesday (only two more days till the weekend) :)

1066 County...

The bank holiday weekend in May was Ashley's birthday. We packed up our belongings and wee Ernie and headed to Battle a small medieval town on the outskirts of Hastings...(the actual place where the battle of 1066 was supposed to have happened) It was a beautiful long weekend, sunny and relaxing.

We had dinner in a local pub called The Squirrell where Ash ordered the biggest Fish and chips i had ever seen!

On the Sunday we walked through the woods and discovered the most enormous rhododendrons and another little pub in Catsfield where we drank beer in the garden before heading back along the winding lanes home.

It was a beautiful weekend, and finally it seems to be looking like summer!
